Want to be updated? or "myRefrain"

I've started a new blog using blogger from Google. I'm calling my new blog, "myRefrain".

It's written in the style of my Xanga blog for the most part.

Most importantly though it will contain updates of my doings in Australia.

You'll want to check their, as I won't be regularly updating any of my other blogs, I'll only really be updating myRefrain.

To go to myRefrain follow this link.

My Mom or "Please Pray For Us"

My mom is having really bad chest pains every time she takes a breath.

We're taking her to the hospital today.

Please pray for us.

UPDATE (November 13, 2006: 12:25 AM): She's doing much better. I'm not exactly sure what the problem was, I'll have to call again to work that outl; but I know she's taking pain medicine and she has some exercises to do to open her lungs back up.

Main point though is that she's going to be okay.

Thank you for your prayers.

Greetings and Salutations or "It's been a while."

It's been a while since updating. I really ought to keep up with this blogging, it's a fun exercise, though cumbersome since I update Xanga, Myspace, and Facebook when I do. Maybe I'll just start updating one of them and put a link on the others that say something to the effect of, "Go to my other site!"

I'd like to personally apologise for not keeping in touch with all my friends outside of Lake Wales. I'd like to personally apologise but I can't. Plane tickets cost too much to visit each and every one of you, at least I'm not going to do that yet, and I'm too lazy for a bunch of phone calls (though I should pick up the phone and make a few). You're all wonderful people, and some of you have tried to keep in touch with me and I've been neglectful with returning the favor. Sorry, I'm horrible with long-distance friendships.

I'm making this update right before Music Fundaments with Mrs. Metcalf. Today has actually been a good day so far.

Still no word from BestSemester. Oh, I don't think I've put anything about that in my blog! BestSemester is a study-abroad program. I applied for it's program at the Wesley Institute in Sydney Australia! I should know if I'm accepted on November 15.

I'll have to be more diligent about updating.

Be blessed,
Mike

Daises, Rainbows, and Butterflies or "Just Trying to Lighten the Mood"

Every time I see that last post is makes my heart frown, so I figured I had to post something soon or I'd be in a perpetual state of depression. (Or at least I'd be in a perpetual state of depression while browsing my blogs.)

I keep making the mistake of taking so long to update that by the time I actually do, there's too much to report to be bothered by it.

Let's see... a few words to lighten the mood...

Daisies, nitwit, rainbows, blubber, butterflies, oddment, mushrooms, sherbert, moonwort, tweak, gurple... I like that one. Gurple. That should be a colour. <- Oh look at me trying to act all international. *Mike slaps himself* Color. Gurple should be a color.

I'm hungry and bored waiting for the cafeteria to open.

Maybe I should go before I do something really embarrassing.

Be blessed.

Untimely Death of Sparky or "Rest in Peace"

Okay. Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I'll be able to work on that better now that I'm home from Camp Sonshine.

I've got plenty to say and to talk about, but I need to sleep.

I just wanted to get this on my blog and get it over with.

When I got home from Camp Sonshine, my parents told me my dog died.

I thought it was a joke at first.

It was not.

Apparently he died about four weeks into my trip to Maryland for Camp Sonshine, but they didn't want to call me and distract me/upset me.

I'd have much rather known then.

Now it seems like such a distant thing.

I'll miss him much.

He was the best dog a guy could ever have.

The backyard feels lonely now.

Be blessed.
